My philosophy is based on the belief that every woman has the power to achieve her goals and create the life she desires. I work with women to identify their health and nutrition goals and create action steps for success. Each woman has a different history and life. Every woman I work with learns to fuel and care for their body according to her needs and evidenced-based recommendations - not what works for me or is popular in our culture at the moment.
I work with women who are motivated to live a full life of health and fun. These women may have tried every diet out there and are fed up. They are ready to make changes for good and FEEL BETTER!! I love working with women to help them improve their relationship with food and body. Women FEEL BETTER when working with me by learning what nutrients are best for their own health and metabolism and learn how to align their food choices with their health goals and lifestyle.
Prior to becoming a Registered Dietitian, I worked in corporate environments. I traveled frequently and experienced changes to my health and body. As a full-time working mother, I can relate to the experiences my clients bring to me. I can empathize as life happens.
Clients learn to adapt their nutrition to what is going on in life, whether it is a typical workday, holiday season, flying to a business meeting, or packing the car for a family road trip. I don't hand out cookie-cutter meal plans, because life certainly does not happen in a rigid predictable manner. Clients learn there is no quick fix and realize how to manage nutrition and wellness goals for life. I LOVE helping women through this journey.
